The National Technical Institute for the Deaf, Rochester Institute of Technology, and the Nippon Foundation sponsored the Postsecondary Education Network International, 2008 Summer Led Japanese delegation of university students, interpreted between Japanese and English in the host city (East Sussex, England), and gave a lecture on communication disorders at the Postsecondary Education Network International, 2008 Summer Leadership Institute organized by the National Technical Institute for the Deaf, Rochester Institute of Technology, and the Nippon Foundation.
Participated in the Kure Branch of Hiroshima Prefectural Minami Special Needs School's 2008 Project for Improving Classes (a project funded by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) as an instructor and lecturer (four times in total).
